Courses
What are the courses like?

Our courses are delivered by expert tutors who have been teaching Students for many years. The courses are a mixture of video lessons, audio, text and interactive knowledge checks.

How much time does it take to complete the courses?

Each Learning Program is designed to be completed in around 15 to 20 hours. So, a Student Bundle with 3 Learning Programs is about 45 to 60 hours of study.

How often do you update the content?

We update all of our courses as the needs of Students change.

Who accredits your examinations?
Our courses are accredited by the CPD Certification Service. We also prepare you for a number of different forms of accreditation.

Once you have completed a course we will provide you with a Certificate of Completion. This indicates that you have completed the course and the assessment attached with the course.

How do you know it’s me that has taken an online exam with your online courses?

In the same way that Universities ask their Online students to agree to an Honour Code, we do the same. When you sign up to take the course and online assessment, you are signing up to our Honour Code, stating that it is you that has completed the course and assessment.

How does the "1 Year" pricing option work?

If you choose to purchase a Learning Program or Bundle for 1 Year, your employees will have access to all courses in the chosen Program for 1 Year from the date of account creation.

At the end of the first year, we will invoice you for the next year. The invoice amount will be the 1 Year pricing. Upon receipt of the invoice, you have 3 options.

  1. Pay the invoice to keep uninterrupted access to the Learning Program.
  2. Increase the duration of access to your access, to either 2 Years or 3 Years – paying the reduced price per person. We will amend and reissue the renewal invoice.
  3. Notify us that you with to cancel the account. We will cancel your account and remove all data linked to your account. Employees and Managers will no longer have access.
How does the "2 Years" pricing option work?

If you choose to purchase a Learning Program or Bundle for 2 Years, your employees will have access to all courses in the chosen Program for 2 Years from the date of account creation.

Your initial payment will be for 1 Years access, but at the reduced price per employee stated in the 2 Years option.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. We also accept Bank Transfers. If you are booking from a company, we will issue you with an invoice and this can be paid via BACS or Company Credit Card.

Can we invoice your company?
Yes, this is often required. When you speak with one of our team, they will arrange this for you.
Do you accept government funding?
Yes, we work closely with various government departments. Please chat to one of our team and we can discuss the best options.
Technical
What do I need to watch the online notes for my course?

An internet connection and a device to connect to it. You can complete the courses on any computer, tablet or smartphone.

Can I watch the course from more than one computer?

Yes. You can log in from anywhere you like from any device. Your progress is stored in our system, not on your computer.

Do I need any special software to watch the course?
No.
What internet speed do I need to watch the course?
For smooth viewing of the videos, you’ll need an internet download speed of 2Mb  – almost all homes and businesses have internet of at least this speed.
Can I watch the course on a tablet or iPad?
Yes.
Can I watch the course on my Smartphone?
Yes.
Do you offer technical support?

Yes. You contact our Customer team via the ‘Help’ page in the Learning Portal.

Data Security
What information do I need to provide?

To watch the courses we need your name and your email address. You will create a secure password that can’t be seen by us.

Is my personal information secure?

Yes. An encrypted SSL connection requires all information sent between a client and a server to be encrypted by the sending software and decrypted by the receiving software, thus providing a high degree of confidentiality. Confidentiality is important for both parties to any private transaction. In addition, all data sent over an encrypted SSL connection is protected with a mechanism for detecting tampering that is, for automatically determining whether the data has been altered in transit.

Do you do anything with my data I should know about?
We only use your data to verify that it’s you completing the course. We never send or share any of your data with any 3rd parties.

If there is an enhancement to a course, we may email you to let you know – but that’s it.
